The responses to the oil filter question is as follows:

Fram PH3639
Pennzoil PZ 8
Wix 51515
AC PF34
Crossland 2035
Bosch 72137
Beck-Arnely 8889

The auto parts store had a listing for the Roadster in a Purolator L 30042.
It looked like the size and shape of the original filter. Some responses
said a Ford 5.0 will fit. The thread and gasket pattern look the same, so
they will probably work. I may try this next because they have a larger
capacity. Comments on using Ford 5.0 filters?

Note on oils. Pennzoil has come out with a commercial on their new
synthetic oil. It has Pennzane additive in it developed for NASA. This is
true for the most part. We have tested Pennzane in several testers and used
it in Space Station and various satellites. The oil is a lot better then
the previous oil we used. The oils we use in space must have very low
outgassing properties so our selection in down to two oil bases we can use.
Low outgassing properties are also good in a hot running Roadster motors.
I will test this new Pennzoil synthetic when we get moved back into the labs
after the remodel is complete.
