Curious as all get out about my 1969 SRL 311 09699.

I was looking at the datsun register web site and got the itch to see if
I could find out more about my car. Be nice to luck into a bonus!!!
Any one out there have any info.

SRL 09699
I found the car in Indianapolis, it had lived in Caramel, IN. Licensed
there in 85. Car had been in storage from mid 70's

Owned by someone ?? in 70's (first PO) who raced it but apparently had a
health problem (stroke?) and couldn't race anymore. Has SCCA sticker on
bumper.

Car sat in storage till 85 when purchased by second owner.
Not sure if he raced it but he did start a restoration with body off
......not sure when he started or how much he actually did. Frame was
cleaned and painted. Motor apparently rebuilt etc.

Second PO sold car and bunches of parts to guy that I purchased car from
.
Car sat a while (???) longer with no attention until I came along.

Car was equipped with racing mags and slicks. PO had installed narrowed
Chrysler rear end. Car has aluminum flywheel, HD sway bar, oil cooler,
and came with parts from other cars.

Original color was white but paint is now the same color as the car on
Beddington's site.
