Yes, you can. If I am not mistaken (going from foggy memory here),
you need to use the late cam sprocket as well. I know I have run into
problems with a sprocket not fitting a cam (or vise versa), but don't
remember the details. I don't think you will have a problem at all if you
have the correct sprocket (by year or part number) for the cam.
