I am assuming that you are running with the complete SOlex setup which also
includes the correct "B" cam. And also that the carbs are adjusted correctly.
A 2000 with the Solex setup doesnt quite hit its powerband until you reach
3800 rpm. My suggestion is to stay on the gas alittle longer and see what
happens.
