did you all miss my goofy subject headings??
I might have a problem with my alt. Yesterday I tried to start
my car and nothing. I poped the hood and looked underneath and when I turned
the key the spot on the alt where the '+' from the batt attaches got orange
hot and started smoking!! The connection looked kinda crudy so I sprayed on
some contact cleaner and then the car started just fine.
Do you think that the built-up gunk-corrision was causing enough
resistance that that was the only problem?? What else should I do??
