Hi Daniel,
The Morse Taper #2 as well as all other taper fits are machined for a slight
interference fit. Put in the largest drill, run the drill press at a low rpm and
drill some holes in soft steel. The mere pressure exerted by drilling will
usually set the chuck into the tapered fit.
