FYI, 1968 1600s were serial # SPL311-17000 to 23999
         1968 2000s were serial # SRL311-01001 to 06999
         1969 1600 was SPL311-24000 to 26999
         1969 2000 was SRL311- 07000 to 12999
Check your serial number to be sure what year your car is.
The Rallye parts catalog stated that the type A box was installed on;
1600's up to SPL311-25000
2000's up to SRL311-09000
