This comes down to authenticity vs. expression. My feeling is - If you want to
customize/personalize your Roadster, Go for it! I would dispute the 
"authenticity" of
teardrop side markers on any but RHD models outside of the '69 model year, 
though. If you
want to remain in the Stock class in the car shows, you'll have to convert to 
RHD ;^).
