Hey all,
I stopped by Stan's the other day to get some top weatherstripping, and he
showed me pictures of the body shell/rolling chassis that he offered a few
days back. For those who are considering a frame off resto, if you have any
rot of any kind, you'd save a lot by starting on the one he is offering.
Complete fenders / front apron (looks like never been crashed and
re-straightened), good gaps, no rust in all the places my PO cheap paint job
is hiding, definitely a california, stored inside, garage project. I've
nothing to gain from the endorsement, just thought I'd pass along after
hearing some of the major panel cutting that goes on (and probably will with
mine in the future).

(now that I have a smaller Grant wheel I'm not a knuckle-dragger, but I
think I need to confirm the successful installation with 'a spirited drive'
as all instructions seem to have as the final step. Hey Victor, when we
drove around your mud-gully and you started to say "slow down or you'll
damage your exhaust hangers" but I'd already gone over the hump, so you
stopped saying so, well, you were right. Back to the muffler shop with
instructions to drop an inch to end drivers' side carpet bar-b-q)
