Hello All,
Well its time for the pre shasta super crush...damn I wish my
birthday was not right before shasta..it really gets in the way...
Anyways thought that I would update you'all on the car.
Windshield: Got it install!!!!!! YAY a new windshield!! its clear!!! I
can
see out of it!!! YAhhhooo...only thing is, is the gasket I got from Ross is way
smaller than the gasket that was on there...so now I got a butt ugly line of
old paint all around the outside?/ What gives?? It was a nissian gasket in
nissian bag and everything?? The guy at the windshield place thoght I got it
from JC whitney!!!
Interior: Well I dropped off the seats-tonnea and sunvisors at the
shop last wednesday..when I made the appt. I was told it would only take a
couple of days. When I brought it in she said two weeks!! That means it would
be done a couple of days AFTER I got back from shasta...damn... I am supposed
to call her Monday and see where she is...
Paint: Well from my earlier posts you can surmise that it did not
go well...We were attempting to put silver pearl 'ghost flames' on the hood of
my car...well....Irene and I need lots more practice at it...be nice to us when
you see the car in person.....it took a lot of work just to get it to look as
nice
as it does...sigh...and the paint was really expensive too....
Hopefully the bumpers will come back from the shop before Friday..
Hopefully I will get the guts to adjsut my valves before friday...
