I've been pretty good at giving advice. Too bad I seldom listen! I've been
very unhappy with the roadster and had stopped using it. Well, it is amazing
what a little tuning will do!
After all the modifications I made last year,
I didn't check the point gap
I didn't reset the timing to 20 degrees BTDC
I never balanced out the solexes,
I used an old, clogged air filter.
Gee, after completing these simple tasks, my car runs much better. Being a
good arm-chair mechanic does nothing compared to actually turning a wrench!
