What does the body tag say IRT engine numbers? Numbers don't
match, do they?

The '67 may have its original engine, but the 66 must certainly does NOT.
R-40001 and above went into the 'later' cars. It's a 5-main (vs 3 main)
block that did not exist in 1966.
