Victor,

In the 70's I worked in the parts department of a Datsun dealership which
was across the street from a BAP Geon store. I used to sell NGK plugs by
the case to knowledgeable repair shops. We used to joke with the BAP guys,
who so sold a lot of Bosch plugs, that Bosch plugs hit half the time and
lasted twice as long.

Dave forwarded (massive edit)> Dan Judy my master tuning guide said " Take
those damb Bosch plugs out of there". He returned shortly with a new set of
NGK's. The results of following runs were consistent between 102-104.
Scientific evidence to not use Platinum plus. Well maybe not, but I will
stick with the NGK's. - Doug

Dave,

Doug got it right! Datsun engines run on NGK plugs. No one knows why, they
just do. Something we all learned on our Roadsters as well.
