If that was the CAF's (Confederate Air Force) B24, - it's really a VC87
made up as a B24 - It was originally an executive transport ship that used to
belong to Continental Can Co. It has windows & passenger accomodations that
the B24 did not have. How do I know this ? Mark's dad used to pilot that
very airplane when it was new. He's in the log books.
Heating: yup, they DID have heating of a sort... throughout the airplane
there are outlets for oxy., and 24V plugs for the heating elements that were
built into their flight suits. They may not have been efficient, but it was
better than nothing.
Roadster Content: Wouldn't you guy in the colder climes like one of those
suits for some top-down winter cruising ???
