a couple of questions before i get myself twisted out
of shape crawling under the dash tomorrow
1. where can a speedo fail?
my cable (70 1600 with the 90? degree elbow attaching
to the tranny) was unplugged at trans and tied out of
the way
is it possible/common that is can fail inside the
tranny at the gear (plastic?) on the output shaft?
i guess if the cable turns when the rear wheels turn
then that part has to be ok (awkward to check that by
myself)
2. if i have two speedos
max 120 mph (i hink it's off a 68)
and the 140 mph (think it's original)
can i swap them and still expect an accurate reading
