I don't know when the H series engine went into production. They did make a
lot of different versions with both 4 and 6 cylinder engines and
displacement ran from 1600 to 3000.

The II version is different than the original engine.  I just can't remember
the difference. It may be an LPG engine.


FWIW, ecept for a few additional bosses and some extra beefy construction H
blocks are the same as R blocks.
