Okay, so I won't go on and on about Victor helping me, because I think a few
embarassed him recently with their glowing reviews of helpful assistance....
BUT, on Saturday, Victor, (the SU guru on the mount) did a very generous and
patient lesson on basic SU tuning on my car, and I learned volumes. And
running much smoother, I'd have to say, even smoother when the shopping list
we collected gets completed. (looks shiny too, due to our obligatory 20-30
minutes of random acts of polishing) He also let me take a spin in his own
Solex/comp-springed/auto-x rear-ended car, which was quite an experience of
the 'throaty' variety.
The car and I were so happy on the way home that when Aaron showed up the
next day to pick up my "project" 1600 motor/trans, (which had fallen below
the priority radar) I had to give him a spin to get his roadster-addictive
juices flowing.
