Lo and the rock was pushed aside, and they beheld a wiggly nose and floppy
ears all draped in the finest of pastels upon a bed of grass that was yet not
grass, and crinkly was the not grass.
And the people went forth in new raiment and finery and white shoes.
And the blessed Lapine did go forth amongst the people, and in his wake was
left the joy of the people, and the sacred beans of jelly beloved of all,
except for the slightly off pinkish ones that no one is sure of. And many a
graven image was made of sacred chocolate. And the chocolate was mixed with
milk solids and they who clung to the old ways had theirs without milk
solids. And the images were consumed with gluttonous glee. and those that
were virtuous ate the ears and those that were not ate the tail and all were
consumed by morning.
And there was great rejoicing, and flocks of small flightless yellow birds
were upon the land. And the virtuous let them get stale and they were
consumed, and the unvirtuous didst microwave them and great amusement was had
with their expressions, and yet these were not consumed for lets face it they
really aren't that great anyway.
And eggs were upon the land. And many were they and hard-boiled, and
bright was their colour. And the children didst gather the eggs from where
they lay, gathering all save that one which always is forsaken only to make
it's presence known later with an unvirtuous stench.
And darkness fell, and the people didst lay about the place in sugar and
cholesterol induced comas, and the Blessed Rabbit did return to wence he came
and no one saw his passing, yet all did await his return.
