A combination of compressed air through the back brake line outlet (near the 
closed end) and whacking the closed end with a hard rubber mallet, while 
placing the open end on a 2X4 on the floor, worked for me. Getting the assembly 
back together after replacing the seals, was also a challenge. The seals didn't 
want to go back in without rolling. After several attempts, the seals finally 
seated and it started pumping fluid to the rear brakes as well as the front. 
Now I have to work on the rear cylinders....
