Why?  It happened on my sister's Accord.  One day, good clutch feel, next 
day, bad pressure plate.  Take it to a clutch shop, if possible.  Many will 
adjust or at least inspect for free.  They don't need to do the work (and 
probably won't since the engine has to come out).  If you're grinding, 
you're probably not releasing the clutch all the way, back out the slave 
cylinder a little more.  If the pressure plate is bad it'll slip while in 
gear but shouldn't grind when going in gear, since the pressure plate is 
supposed to hold it firm but now isn't.
