'69 1600 went for the first summer's ride

Hey listers,
    Well my '69 1600 finally took me for the first summer ride yesterday- what
a rush! The carbs are still not set up correctly as it backfires above 3000
RPM and does not have a lot of pull, but it drives and stops!!! Now I know why
I have been puttering with it for the last 4 months and working on my '68 1600
since 4 years ago...!!!!
    Just thought I'd share........:):):)
