I'm nearly finished with my engine install. I have a question about Solex
choke cables. I have some new SU choke cables, but they are way too long.
Can I cut these to fit my car? How do I cut them? Also, did the Solex set up
have one cable or two? I can only find one "fitting/holder that is used to
clamp the cable in place to keep it from moving around. It's on my back carb
but none on the front carb. I'm not talking about where it attaches to the
"choke" on the carb, but rather a fitting that the cable housing clamps on.
Was there only supposed to be one cable that worked for both carbs? If so,
does anyone have a good choke cable or have advice? Thanks!!
