is one of those "hen's teeth" parts right along side of the 67.5 headrests,
gauges, license trim ring and other parts that were only found on the 67.5
2000 and 1600. I have spent years looking for 67.5 parts and one of the ones
that I could never locate was the dash wiring harness. Mine, like most 30+
year old electrical harnesses had been cut and mutilated to the point where
it really was not suitable for the restoration.

I was referred to a shop in Bellingen, NSW in Australia called appropriately
enough Vintage Wiring Harness. I don't know if any of our friends down under
have used this place, but they advertise wiring harnesses for LHD roadsters
from 64-70. Ross recommended them to me as he has had them do some harnesses
for him (in fact if you need a 64 Dash Harness call Ross) and he says they
are great.

Believe me, if the vendors had 67.5 2000 dash harnesses I would buy from
them, but this is one of those parts that has pretty much vanished. I still
say if the vendors have the part in stock, get it from them. However, this
harness is almost impossible to find so I am going with this resource. One
drawback, they do not have gauge lamp sockets, but if you send yours they
will solder them on for you or you can do that yourself when you get the
harness. I was quoted 5-6 weeks lead time.

I will let you know how it goes when the time comes to put it in.

Their website address is: www.vinwire.com.au

See you on the road!
