I installed my oil pan today. I had a gasket that I was going to prep that I
bought from one of the vendors only it did not fit. it seemed to narrow. so I
though I might need to stretch it a little to make it fit. It broke with a
slight tug. I used permatex instead and installed it. all went ok except that
I broke one of the bolts off. there is another bolt that was missing but it
turns out it was broken off before I bought the car. the pan seems snug
however so I will give it a try. opinions please!
