Hey gang,
Spring is here - well I hope it is anyway...It is time to get the beast
ready for the summer. Planning some upgrades prior to putting it on the road
and one of the them is a roll bar. Does anyone have a diagram of a roll bar
that will fit '69 1600 and fit under the soft top? Any ideas on material to be
used? I've done some digging and 1 3/4 "OD with 0.12 " wall thickness ERW
seems to be a popular use for roll bars in other vehicles.
On a different note, I may have a line on a used KA24 DE with 100k miles -
tranny,ECU,MAF etc. - all bits for a swap out of a 240 that was damaged -
private sale. What would you expect to pay for the whole shot?
