I wouldn't buy virtually any modern car for its prospective long term value
as a collectible. Production #s are just so high, even for cars like the Ford
GT, Porsche Carrera GT. Perhaps #03 will at least hold its value better
than other examples. Also, if you buy 03 as a collectible, can you drive it
much, or does it just sit in the garage under a cover, tying up $$ that could
be
wasted on gas, tires, brake pads, NOS parts, etc.? I'd just buy it because
you love it. Just my .02, and there's definitely no potential price
appreciation in that!
