Trivia, a bit belated
There was a 4-column article " Retro Racing" in the Nov 27 issue dealing with
the early days of Japanese efforts to be recognized in the USA..late
60's-early 70's..Among other items it stated that in 1971 BRE driver John
Morton and the Datsun 510 was the TWO-FIVE champ over BMW and Alfa : also
there was a picture of Bobby Allison of Winston Cup fame and BRE Datsun 510.
