I think wires look great on my 66/67 MGB but they are a PITA to keep clean.
I especially like the winged knockoffs that are on my car.

Having said that I have minilite type of wheels w/the knockofofs and it
looks great too and is way easier to keep clean. NYC roads and wires aren't
the best combination so I only use the wires in the winter cause I don't
care about the old tires.
