transmission gear lube

Listers,

I am ready to fill my freshly rebuilt servo-type 5 speed with fluid.  I would 
like suggestions on what to use.  I know some of you use redline, synthetics, 
etc.  I have also heard to use standard 90W gear lube with a % of ATF added 
in.  I understand ATF is a high detergent lubricant and can/might keep the 
internals clean.
