The old trick to removing the pilot bushing is to use a wooden dowel that  is 
machined to a few thousandths clearance to the bushing I.D. and pack the  
pilot cavity with grease.  Slide the dowel into the hole.  There  should be 
enough grease so the dowel just goes into the pilot bearing  halfway.  Smack 
the 
dowel with a hammer and the pilot bearing should get  driven out by the 
hydraulic pressure in the cavity.  The key here is to  have a close clearance 
between 
the dowel and the bushing ID.  
 
You could also use a small ID puller.
