If you do this take and post pictures, lots of old boxes are getting to be in
pretty bad shape.

Subject: Steering Box Swap

Howdy Listers,
I'm interested in swapping a late Type "B" steering box into a '67 with solid
column. Using a u-joint with a different splined yoke on each end to fit the
box
and shaft seems to be the easiest solution.
There are numerous sources for steering u-joints using two different sized
splined yokes. Can anyone tell me what sizes our splines are for early and late
models or if they're metric or SAE?
Thanks,
Mike Hudson '67-1600
