Amen to that! That's what was in my car when I first got it (former race
car). 1st gear was completely useless as far as normal driving goes. One
time I accidentally started off in 2nd and hardly even noticed until I
reached for the shifter.
But then who said Alvin does any "normal" driving? ;-)
