This isn't meant to start a flame war, and the 311s.org site is
an excellent resource that deserves to be supported. That said...
Some of us still prefer a single-thread interactive mailing list. While
I see the fruitlessness in answering the same question again and again
("What's the round S/Brake switch do?") and I highly encourage people
to do some digging on their own, sometimes it's just friendlier and
more personal to toss out a quick question and interact with others.
It's not the cars. . . It's the people!
