5sp tranny guru question...

I'm getting ready to dismantle my 5sp transmission and had two questions:

1.) What size drifts / punches will I need for the job?

2.) The tranny ocassionally pops out of 2nd gear when I'm accelerating, any 
idea which part needs replacing or what to look at for this problem?
