A 160 thermostat will START to open at about 159 degrees and be completely 
open at about 180, the 180 thermostat will start to open at 180 and be 
completely open at about 200. If you take your old one to Napa they should 
be able to match it up. If they give you one that doesn't have a small hole 
in it drill one in the edge  so you allow any air bubbles to flow back to 
the radiator.
