So, put new header on car and natch the header didn't match up to the exhaust
pipe. No problem there though, but the car did sound just great without
muffling - so i revved it a bit and then a bit more and then a bit more still
- just loved the sound. stopped and found a puddle of oil under the car -
funnily enough it came from a hole in the oil pan and funnily enough it was
the front crankshaft bearing/journal that put it there. just a tad messy to
say the least.
bought a replacement engine on craigslist (that was timely at least) and now i
have to take that apart and check it. may go the stroker route since it will
all be apart.
Ah, the joys of motoring - or not as the case may be.
