Just in case you're heading to the Mitty on Thursday, I just got word that
the track is closed to spectators until the test sessions are over, about
5:15. Below is the email I got from HSR about it.

Paul,
The reason there is a line on Thursday is that that is test day and
spectators are not allowed into the track until that is done which should be
5:15 p.m. They line y'all up on a first come first serve basis so I really
don't have an actual time for you. There is 24 hour security so you can
come in as late as you want. Hope this helps.

It's been a few years since I've been down to the Mitty and this will be
my first trip as a spectator, not crew for Tom Phelan's Datsun 2000
roadster. And I should be driving my 1969 Datsun roadster when I show up at
the gates this year!
Is there a time I need to beat to make sure I can get into the track on
Thursday? I seem to remember a line waiting to get in.
