 Hi Dan,
Glad you figured it out.
Front brakes are next for me also. I found Karp's in Upland, CA for sleeving
at 60 per if I need that to be done.Cheaper than Whitepost. They have done
Datsuns before. They resleeve and then you assemble with your seals.
Always something!

Linda

Linda,

All the lines were fine. I decided to just bite the bullet and pull it all
apart again. It turns out that I had pinched the piston ring on the bottom of
the cylinder. It took a good sized chunk out of the ring and brake fluid
could then flow past. I will hopefully get it back together today. It is
supposed to rain all weekend so I wasn't going out in the roadster anyway.
Thanks for your response!
Dan

If the tubes aren't connected correctly then they will leak, as in you might
have the tube upside down. That recently happened to Peter after his brakes
were rebuilt.

I have just rebuilt my brake calipers. The first three I got back together

with moderate problems, but all hold fluid. I finished the last one today,
and

everything went together perfectly, but as soon as I step on the pedal, brake

fluid comes pouring down the back of the brake bracket. Do I need to rebuild

the caliper again? I have all the old parts, but no new rubber. Is there

anything else this could be?
