WHOSE? How about "who's", as in who is. Add another DUH under my name!

And Thanks to all that offered help.

The DUH is for me. At my age I should start writing things down instead
of depending on a fading memory. Developed a bad miss in the KA24E in my
roadster a few weeks back. I got lots of suggestions on what the cause
might be and I attacked most of them. I cleaned all the sensor connections,
cleaned the MAF, replaced the cap & rotor, and while it was in the garage, I
flushed the cooling system. This left me with an engine that wouldn't idle
and surged when I tried to drive. Totally frustrated and beginning to
consider sticking a R16 back under the hood, I closed up the garage and
walked away.

This morning, before the heat index hits 100 again, I went back out to the
garage and took a look under the hood again. Hmmm, no wires going to the
MAF? Gee, you think that might cause a problem or two. Plug the wires back
in and fire it up. No, still a problem, so I kept looking. After going
over everything under the hood, TWICE, I found another sensor unplugged and
two hoses disconnected from the intake. Plugged everything back in, and
gee, it runs just fine. Amazing how well all the smoke in those wires flows
just fine when you bother to hook them all up! I think an afternoon ice
cream run is in order today, but not the same way I went two weeks ago!

As for the glen, whose going to the vintage races in September? I was up
there several years ago with Tom Phelan. Tom has promised to resurrect his
vintage 2000 race roadster and signed me on for crew again this trip. I'm
looking forward to seeing some old friends again, and this time driving my
roadster, not a truck!
