Had intermittent to no brake lights at recent annual inspection, traced to a=
 failed switch. Sourced switch and snubber.

Test fitting the new brake light switch fixed the brake light problem, and t=
he remnants of a crystalized snubber fell off when removing the defective sw=
itch housing and stop nut.

Now the issue is how to get the 14mm stop nut that should be forward of the b=
racket, started on the threaded portion of the new switch housing that goes t=
hrough the bracket from aft forward. Blind location and fat fingers don't he=
lp.=20

Tips and tricks?

I will leave the new snubber off for the time being given I cannot see where=
 it came from or where it should go, unless there are also tips and tricks f=
or visualizing and replacing that.

Thanks.
