Friends of Triumph, et. al.

Most of you know.... Paul Richardson is the son of the late Ken
Richardson, Competition Director for Triumph in the 50s and early 60s.
Paul is now the publisher of a magazine called "Triumph Over Triumph"
and plans to carry on the legacy of his family. He has assembled a new
slide show of the competition days of Triumph with "pictures never seen
before".

Paul called this morning. He indicated that he received his invitation
from the Minnesota Triumphs to attend the VTR National Convention and
has accepted. He also plans to attend BRIC at Road America.

We hope to work out his itinerary for arrival and departure points and
for the duration of his stay.

I have recommended that he fly in and out of Minneapolis, MN or
Waterloo, IA....for the cheapest rates, rather than splitting arrival
and departure points. Waterloo flights are slightly higher than
Minneapolis but a bunch cheaper than flying into Milwaukee and then
leaving from Minneapolis.

If he flies in & out of Minneapolis, we will need some support from
Minnesota to pick him up, play host to him, and transport him to BRIC.
We in Iowa, can pick it up from there. Otherwise I will recommend that
he fly in & out of Waterloo and we will host him all of the way to VTR.

With the passing of Ken Richardson, his wife, and more recently, Mike
Rothschild (Triumph Factory driver...LeMans..Sebring, etc) there is a
diminshed link to Triumph history. This is an opportunity to sustain
this connection.

Thank you Minnesota Triumphs..
