I am close to walking on air -- but since I spend much of my time on the
creeper maybe it's more like suspended --
I am about to realize a life-long dream -- racing in Florida in the
winter! You don't know how alluring and exotic this sounds to a
life-long tundradweller.
My sweetie Frances, my son Tony, and I are boarding the Chevyvan with
TR4 in tow for the race at Homestead Fla and then the Sebring event the
following weekend. You will recognize my car by the icicles hanging from
it.
The reason for this message is to ask the folks in the Florida area for
recommendations of things to see and do between the events. We have
motel reservations at Homestead and then near Sebring, but there are a
couple of days when we could visit folks, see your garages, steal your
speed secrets, or actually do things not associated with being on the
track.
Any suggestions?
