That's an interesting way to keep the exhaust system on that trident. I
heard that was a problem. You need a way to lower the back wheel of the
bike to the road for extra oomph up the hills.

Fellow FOTers,

Remember the discourses a few months ago about Race Trailers? A friend
sent me the attached photo of my arrival at the HSR event at Savannah
with
my new race trailer. Simply by removing the windshield, wipers, top and
changing tires I'm ready to go. I eventually place 8th in a starting
field
of 18.

Even before Joe was a pup, John Ruskin wrote the "Seven Lamps of
Architecture". Picking up on that theme, perhaps I should draft the
"Seven
Cylinders of Triumph." If I recall correctly, Ruskin's fifth "Lamp" was
called the "Lamp of Sacrifice." I think there might be some valuable
associative cross pollination there.

If the Triple had run as well as the Four, it would have been perfect,
albiet w/o sacrifice. And, as we all know, that would be but a hollow
victory.
