All three of these tracks have quite long straights, Roebling probably the
longest when you consider the corner comming on to it is the fastest turn on
the track as well.

totally dependent on what you want to have for max rpm in your TR. If 6000 is
your cup of tea, plug in the stock 3.7 and you'll just get to it in 4th gear if
you have a pretty large amount of motor. If your motor is a little less
developed it might yield 5500 or so.

If you have a strong motor and really want to run those 7000 rpm sort of
ranges, the 4.3 should be just the ticket for getting rods-a-stretchin.

If one were to spend a bunch of dough on an otherwise well developed TR, it
would be for a close ratio gearbox. As with most race tracks, all three of
these have at least one corner for which 2nd gear is waaay to low and 3rd is
aggravatingly high.

So, do you live down here with us Floridians or just planning your southern
tour? Either way, Roger Beasley (TR4) and I both live down here and can give
you a bunch of info regarding the tracks, motels, restuarants, technical help,
etc.
