I intend these words of wisdom to be my last message regarding our
recent "incident", other than trying to find rebuild parts.
The words of wisdom are:
Race cars break.
F1 cars break.
IRL cars break a lot.
CART cars break.
Nascar cars break.
LeMans cars break.
And all of them have huge development budgets and do not use 40 year old
parts.
I think in vintage racing we have a darned good success ratio. BUT, we
have to be ever vigilant, and we must be mentally prepared for the fact
that race cars DO break.
