FOTers
One of the race events identified as a potential FOT regional event is
the VARA event at Button Willow racetrack (near Bakersfeild, California)
featuring the TR-MG Challenge.
Bill has volunteered to lead the charge here. Sounds from the email
description below that the E-Tickets Group, which includes a number of
FOTers, already has a the gathering of their own which other FOTers have an
open invitation to join.
I am personally going to try to make this event.

Be glad to hep coord such an event. We normally have 7 or 8 E Ticket cars pit
together ....kind of like in a compound of 3 or four motorhomes (Mordy's is
about 50 foot long (Greyhound size) and the others are 32 to 36 footers and
then there are the box trailers as changing rooms ...many with full kitchens,
potty's etc. So there is usually plenty of accomodations to share. We attempt
to 'corral' a pit area for "bench racing" ... awnings, tables, chairs,
etc.....and I've seen 25 to 30 peoples in the 'pit' after racing on
occasions. Point is... the place to meet may be right there with the cars .
Most of us camp at the track .... some tent it..... weather is usually great!!
Once I get info from Moss be glad to post the details or pos a note having
those interested to ask me so I don't have to bomb the list ... will send
individually. Even roll up an excell sheet on those who request....name,
phones, cars, planned dates.... so some can caravan if it makes sense.
Let me know what you need and by when. Feel free to extract from this note
and post the bits you need.
