Yes, the events of the day will likely have quite an effect on many
people. And sad to say, more than a few will demand "justice", a
justice born of hatred, violence and bloodshed, a justice defined in
the pages of the terrorists own book. They and the perpetrators of
these acts are of a common mind, they just wrap themselves in
different flags.
I personally have no friends or relatives in the effected area, but still
the events have effected me more than I thought they would. On some of
the various Team.Net lists there are people who live in the area or have
family or close friends nearby. I don't read the lists, but just in going
through the usual errors and misdirected posts I've read about these folks
and their fears and concerns, and it saddens me, making the whole affair
more personal. A sad day indeed.
