I have been using Carbotech "gold" for the last couple of years on the TR3.  Not
sure if that's the same as Panther or not.  Have not experienced wear as fast as
you discussed.  They were a great improvement over the previous compounds from
the same company, so called "black" and "blue".

You should consider calling and talking to my friend that is the owner of
Carbotech, Larry Narcus.  Quite a nice guy and would be more than willing to
provide other options based on your useage.
