Just for the record I made with great regularity the following power with
the orginal stock carbs (properly jetted) and standard engine componets I.E
:crank and rods.

1300 Spitfire  127 bhp at 8200
2000 GT-6      187 BHP @ 7800
TR-6                 210BHP @6500
