I run Webers now, after pulling my hair out on HS6 Carbs that Would
not work (that's a long story, some of which has been told here last
year). I had H6 Carbs on prior to the HS6's but wanted to fit big air
cleaners on the long manifold so I went to the HS6's. Going to
Webers was painless (except for the initial cost). I did however
install an Air Fuel ratio meter to set them up (I already had an
Exhaust temp gauge to try to sort out the SU's) and am still doing
some of that 1 1/2 years later. I am hoping to get the engine on a
dyno over the winter, to really tune the carbs, but I probably will
not have a set of SU's that would be worthy to try. Joe(B)
